President Rodrigo Roa Duterte spoke before the members of the business sector, industry associations, and diplomatic corps as he graced the closing plenary of the 42nd Philippine Business Conference (PBC) and Exposition of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) at the Manila Mariott Hotel in Pasay City. 

During his speech, the President reiterated his assurance to give the Filipino people a clean government enshrined to its mandate of providing law and order. 

CHINA FINANCED THE REHAB HOUSES WHILE JAPAN DONATED A BOAT

President Duterte said that China and JAPAN helped by financing the Rehab Houses and gave a Boat respectively, they don't criticize but HELP.  He also said that he wrote a letter to President Obama, EU and to UN to ask them to investigate the recent killings in the Philippines for themselves. He said that instead of criticizing, they should also help solve the problem or issue.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, who is under fire for his deadly war on illegal drugs, is planning to impose a nationwide ban on smoking in public before the end of this month.
The country’s health minister told the Associated Press news agency on Tuesday that her department was pushing for the ban to start before a law providing for graphic health warnings on tobacco products was fully implemented on November 4.

PRESIDENT DUTERTE RESPOND TO "PSYCHOPATH" COMMENT BY ACTRESS AGOT ISIDRO

MANILA, Philippines – Agot Isidro earned the ire of netizens, particularly those who are avid supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte after she called the president a psychopath and dared him to consult a psychiatrist.

The issue started when the actress aired her frustrations on social media after President Rodrigo Duterte challenged the European Union (EU) and United States (US) to withdraw the aid that they give to the Philippines; emphasizing that the country can survive without them.

"An actress is angry with me that I am a psychopath. I leave her to her constitutional rights to free expression. She should enjoy that," Duterte said in his speech after the mass oath-taking of his newly appointed officials and League of Municipalities of the Philippines leaders in MalacaƱan on Tuesday.
